Tima

So to get in the mood, I listened to the Metropolis soundtrack this morning getting ready. It was a really great day out! 65 degrees and it smelled so good too. For my Tima outfit, I just threw together some things I could buy cheaply here. I got wings to replace the dove (couldn't catch one...) from Tokyu Hands, and a big plaid shirt from Hanjiro. I love that store!
To make my hair like Tima's, all I had to do was blow-dry it upside down, then using a round hair brush, spray the up turned ends. I don't have a curling iron here, but it worked really well!
To make my eyes look bigger, I used half-fake lashes. They only
go from the far ends of your eye to the middle. I didn't use any makeup because Tima is really young, and any mascara at all would have ruined it. I did put a tiny bit of gold eyeliner on to make my eyes brighter, but thats all.
The first half of the shoot was done from the JR Line platform at Takadanobaba. The whole town is really big and bright, and it feels an awful lot like Metropolis. Especially on the weekends, when there is this troupe of four people dressed as Geisha and Samurai, playing music on drums, chimes, sax, and oboe. Really weird, but w/e. I had to stand on the icky ground in my bare feet. eew!
The second shoot we did was in our dorm, with the help of some news paper and a red marker.
I wanted to emulate these pictures:
What came out was this (go to my Flickr for all of them) :
